Brick To Issue Laptops to Seniors, Teachers


Brick Township’s Board of Education will be distributing Apple Macbook Air laptops to all 1,100 high school seniors to carry with them during the school day, The Brick Patch reports. Some 325 High school teachers will also be issued the laptops to use for lessons. Dr. Walter Uszenski, Superintendent said that the lap top program will reduce absenteeism and discipline problems while increasing acheivement. The laptops will also help promote career readiness, a mandate that may soon come down from the State of N.J.
