Wagner Wants to Align College and High School Curricula to the Available Jobs

A Garden State lawmaker, Assemblywoman Connie Wagner, wants to estblish a Workforce Development and Education Commission within the Dept. of Labor and Workforce development. The commission would examine the skill-sets needed for private sector jobs of the future--such as tech jobs-- and share that information with universities and high schools. "We know we need more people in technology and the science fields, and the medicine fields, she told NJ105.com. "So let's...make sure we're not graduating too many people in areas where there will be no promise of employment."
