Yesterday, NJTechWeekly.com turned the switch on its new site redesign. Like many of our readers, we are a startup, and our first attempt to bring you the tech news in New Jersey was what many would call a “minimum viable product.”

We learned early on that we had some navigation problems that vexed visitors to the site. We also found out that analytics programs were having some difficulty accessing our site. In fact, the design of our site had become quite a headache!

This will be a very short article. As any good startup should, we tested this redesign on a focus group. They found the site more enjoyable to navigate and to read. Now we are asking you for your feedback. Are you finding the site easier to use? Can you find the material you want better? Do you have any suggestions for us? Give the site a couple of days and let me know. As always, you can reach me at esurden@njtechweekly.com, at Twitter @njtechwkly, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/njtechweekly and on Google Plus here.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for being loyal users of the site. We are growing, just as the tech ecosystem in New Jersey is growing.

In fact, we hope you will like our new tag line: Growing Tech in the Garden State. We are committed to letting you know what is happening in the entire tech ecosystem– in companies and communities large and small– throughout the state so we can help technology be nurtured and the tech industry continue to grow here.
