Hillsborough 5th to 12th Grade Students Get Chromebooks


According to an article in the Messenger-Gazette, over then next two and a half weeks the Hillsborough Township Public Schools’ Technology department has 2,842 appointments scheduled with parents and students to distribute nearly 4,500 computing devices prior to the first day of classes.

This school year marks the final phase of Hillsborough’s 1:1 technology initiative. All schools were equipped with additional access points and increased bandwidth in anticipation of increased traffic. Staff has also been prepared with professional development centered on tech integration in the classroom, the article said.
