A drastic, perhaps irreconcilable, dichotomy between two schools of thought exists regarding cryptocurrency. One school believes that cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ether, are the inevitable result of technological innovation and should be wholly embraced for their ability to reduce friction in business transactions and to reduce the cost of capital. The other expresses concern about the negative impact of cryptocurrencies on state sovereignty, including the ability of countries to control and regulate their money supply.
iCIMS Moves into Bell Works, Marking Milestone for Company and Building
Software-as-a-Service company iCIMS moved into a beautifully renovated space at Bell Works on November 20, and hosted an official ribbon cutting for employees, the press and friends of the company. iCIMS has taken up an entire tower in the Bell Works building, and its presence as an anchor tenant will help Bell Works fulfill its potential. Bell Works was the former AT&T Bell Labs site, which sat vacant for many years. It’s now full of life, and has been called a “tech mecca.”

Glenn Lurie, Formerly of AT&T, Becomes Synchronoss CEO
Synchronoss Technologies, the Bridgewater-based public tech company that has undergone some tough times recently, now has a new CEO to guide it. Glenn Lurie succeeds former CEO Stephen Waldis, founder of the company, who will remain chairman of the Synchronoss Board of Directors.
