RESOURCE1, a national provider of talent-acquisition and executive-search services, acquired Carnegie Affiliates, a boutique IT search firm. Cognizant (Teaneck) is forming a $100 million nonprofit foundation to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and digital education and skills initiatives for U.S. workers and students. InterCloud Systems (Shrewsbury), a provider of cloud networking orchestration and automation solutions and services, said that it had a definitive agreement for the sale of its subsidiary ADEX Corporation (Atlanta, Ga.)


Startup Roundup: MAINGEAR, Wylei, RobustWealth and Throtle

MAINGEAR (Kenilworth) has partnered with Unikrn , an esports betting brand, to create two co-branded luxury crypto-mining computers with UnikoinGold-mining capabilities. Cutting-edge personalized-marketing tech startup Wylei (Jersey City) has added heavy hitter Denice Torres to its board of directors. RobustWealth (Lambertville), a digital wealth-management platform designed by and for investment advisers, is partnering with Apex Clearing, an independent full-service clearing firm. In December, Throtle (Red Bank), a data onboarding company focused on “deterministic identity resolution,” said it closed a Series B funding round led by TransUnion.
