School District to Use State Money for Laptops, E-books


The Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District has approved the use of almost $300,000 of additional state aid it had received for technology and literacy initiatives. Technology to be purchased includes “additional laptops, Promethean whiteboards and overhead projectors and e-books for the students, iPads for physical education teachers and expanded wireless access.”
