Elizabeth Schools To Use Some Abbott Funds for Technology


Elizabeth, N.J., schools will receive $81.8 million, as ordered by the state Supreme Court for N.J.’s high-poverty schools in its latest Abbott v. Burke ruling. While more than half the money will go to salaries and benefits for 400 new staff members, the district will spend about $8 million for supplies and technology.
