Bayonne Gets Wind Turbine


A wind turbine located at the Bayonne Municipal Utilities Authority’s Oak Street pumping station will produce 3.3 gigawatt hours of electricity a year, enough to power 600 single-family homes for the same period. Some residents are worried about the turbine’s effect on property values and the level of noise it will emit.
