Building AIs with Common Sense UXPA NJ chapter

The encoding of commonsense knowledge and the automation of commonsense reasoning is one of the greatest challenges in artificial intelligence. This talk will discuss why commonsense knowledge is critical in central AI tasks like language understanding, vision, and robotic action. The talk will survey the approaches that have been taken to building AI’s with common sense, what has been accomplished, and what remains very difficult.
