Students at Rutgers Develop ParkNet Parking Application


Professor Marco Gruteser and students at the Rutgers Wireless Information Network Lab (WINLAB) started out studying real-time traffic monitoring using mobile phones and wound up inventing ParkNet, a system that provides info about available parking spots in crowded cities.
