16 Best Tech Companies to Work for in New Jersey in 2016 Via NJ Biz

Each year, NJ Biz puts together a list of the 100 best places to work for in New Jersey. This year’s list contains 16 tech or tech-related companies. The top companies to work for will be announced and ranked on April 19, at an awards event to be held in Freehold.

Below you can find the tech companies on the NJ Biz list, divided between large companies and small/medium-sized companies, with each section in alphabetical order. We’ve added a brief description of each company and a notation about the number of job openings. The information came from company websites or discussions with firm spokespersons as of Feb. 24, 2016.

Large Companies

Billtrust (Hamilton): “Billtrust is the premier payment cycle management provider. It integrates three key areas of the invoice-to-cash process: presentment, payment and cash application, helping our clients connect with their customers and cash.”

Billtrust currently lists many job openings on its site, with a dozen located in New Jersey.

Enroute Computer Solutions (Egg Harbor Township): Enroute Computer Solutions is a government contractor that provides a wide range of engineering services to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Enroute currently lists about ten jobs on its site.

EMC (Hopkinton, Mass., with N.J. locations): EMC is a global company that enables businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver information technology as a service (ITaaS).

A quick search found almost three dozen job opportunities in New Jersey.

iCIMS (Matawan): iCIMS is a cloud-based recruitment software provider.

More than 30 jobs in Matawan were listed on the company’s website.

Small and Medium-Sized Companies

Applied Info Group (Kenilworth): Applied Info Group offers email-delivery and database solutions.

No jobs are listed on the website, but a spokesman said that they would hire if the right person came along.

DefinedLogic (Red Bank): DefinedLogic is an enterprise digital consulting company that provides immersive experiences and technology solutions to meet business challenges, according to the company website.

Nine job opportunities, including an internship, are listed on the website.

Exigent Technologies (Mt. Arlington): Exigent is a full-service information technology consulting firm that implements and maintains high-performance IT systems for small and medium-sized organizations in a wide range of industries.

Exigent lists its jobs on Dice, and there are three New Jersey jobs currently open.

iMedia (Boonton): iMedia is a strategic interactive agency that creates, designs and produces integrated and results-driven digital brand experiences.

“Currently, we do not have openings, since we went through a hiring phase recently, but our needs change frequently,” a spokesman said. They are often looking for “Dot Net” developers familiar with content management, he added.

Internet Creations (Hamilton): Internet Creations has delivered IT services in the Philadelphia and New York City metro areas since 1996, the company says on its website. “Our customers rely on our guidance to ensure their technical infrastructure aligns with their operational goals.”

Two open positions are listed on the Internet Creations website.

Launch 3 Telecom (Fairfield): Launch 3 Telecom is an international distributor of new, used and refurbished telecom equipment.

Launch 3 has several positions listed on its website, but some may be at its California logistics center.

SBS Group (Edison): SBS Group is a Microsoft Gold Partner and Master value-added reseller (VAR) providing consulting and IT services to organizations across the nation.

Six career positions are listed on the SBS website, but it is unclear if they are in New Jersey.

Sunhillo (West Berlin): Sunhillo handles all the lifecycle aspects of surveillance data distribution systems for the FAA., U.S. military, civil aviation authorities, and national defense organizations across the globe.

The Sunhillo website says that there are currently job openings at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), near Atlantic City.

The Casey Group (Parsippany): The Casey Group is a business and technology solutions firm that specializes in helping companies across a variety of industries use technology more effectively.

We were unable to reach The Casey Group to speak about their job openings.

V12 Group (Red Bank): Warehousing over 5 billion consumer, business, automotive and online records, the V12 Group Data Cloud provides knowledge and insight to hundreds of firms, “enabling them to achieve marketing success through the use of high-quality data.”

There are ten job openings in Red Bank listed on the V12 Group website.

WorkWave (Neptune): WorkWave provides cloud-based field service and fleet management solutions that help organizations with mobile workforces transform their businesses.

More than a dozen job openings are listed on the WorkWave website.

Worldwide Supply (Franklin): Worldwide Supply provides network equipment and service solutions to keep operations running smoothly.

Worldwide lists several job openings, mostly in sales, on its website.
