Rutgers to Study Wireless Tech to Reduce Traffic Congestion


Rutgers and UCLA have been awarded a $2 million grant by the National Science Foundation to develop intelligent technology that reduces urban traffic congestion and air pollution. The technology will use wireless networking to monitor traffic and suggest alternate routes to drivers.
