High-Tech Mapping System Helps Meadowlands Towns in Emergencies


The 14 towns in the New Jersey Meadowlands District have access to an updated web-based geographic mapping program and early-warning alert system, one of the services and resources provided to help towns reduce expenses and payroll. The system was used to locate electrical transformers damaged in October’s snowstorm.
