Tigerlabs (Princeton) announced that applications for its Tigerlabs University Summer 2013 Accelerator are now open. Current undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates are eligible to apply either as an individual or as a team. The deadline is April 10,2013.

While many of last year’s applicants were from New Jersey colleges such as Princeton, many were from colleges and universities throughout the country and one was even from England.  You can see our coverage of TigerLab’s demo day here in our articles Tigerlabs Demo Day Boasts Student Companies with Promise, Part 1 and Part 2.

Tigerlabs University is a 12 week summer accelerator program that provides a venue for passionate undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates to pursue careers in technology entrepreneurship.

The Tigerlabs team — venture capitalists and serial entrepreneurs — believes that by focusing solely on student entrepreneurs, it “can provide the appropriate level of mentorship, capital, services, and inspiration specific to the needs of student entrepreneurs.”

Tigerlabs University participants receive $20,000 in capital, more than $100,000 in perks, and “a spot in our swank open office space,” and mentorship from world class entrepreneurs, investors, and operators.”
