iSTEM Project in Edison Infuses Curriculum With Science, Tech, Engineering and Math

About 450 students participated in iSTEM, using iPads and computers to create some 100 projects. The program is expected to be expanding in the coming school year, the article said.

Twenty-three teachers from the two schools attended professional development programs provided by The College of New Jersey's Center for Excellence on STEM Education, according to the article. iSTEM is part of a larger program called Engineering by Design, based on a national curriculum model from the International Technology and Engineering Education Association.
