Tech-related Companies on the NJBIZ 50 Fastest-growing Companies List

Every year NJBIZ assembles a list of New Jersey’s fastest-growing companies. The paper honored the companies at a gala at the Palace at Somerset Park recently.

Following are the tech and tech-related companies that appeared on this year’s list. Our count suggests that 22 of the 50 fastest-growing companies identified by NJBIZ are involved in technology-related undertakings. Our apologies to any company left off our list that should be on it.

#4 Hoboken-based Mindlance is a staffing company, focused both on IT as well as IT contingent staffing.

#8 is Synchronoss Technologies, the Bridgewater company that activates, syncs, manages and optimizes connected devices for carriers and their customers.

#16 Astir IT Solutions is a Cedar Knolls-based IT consulting company with a business intelligence/analytics division.

#15 is MD On-Line, a company located in Parsippany-Troy Hills that has software and services to ease the flow of data between insurers and physicians.

#17 CardCash (Brick) is an innovative startup that has taken off, with a website and backend processing that allow people with unused gift cards to sell them to people who want discounted gift cards.

#18 is Jersey City-based Datapipe. Datapipe manages and secures mission-critical IT services, including cloud computing, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, colocation and data centers, NJBIZ said.

#19 is Compunnel, a Plainsboro business technology service company that offers application development, cloud computing and information management.

#21 Iselin-based Intone Networks is a technology consulting firm with expertise in Web development, data warehousing, business analysis and other specialties, NJBIZ says.

#26 is Red Bank-based Diversant. Founded by Gene Waddy in 2005, the company is an IT staffing and consulting company that also trains military veterans for IT jobs, among other workforce development initiatives.

#30 Eneractive Solutions (Asbury Park) has a Web-based monitoring system that allows customers to see in real time how they are using energy, NJBiz says.

#31 is AmeriQuest Business Services (Cherry Hill), which “exploits technology” to help middle market companies operate more efficiently. The company is focused on transportation, retail and finance.

#33 WebiMax (Mount Laurel) is a digital marketing agency that concentrates on social media marketing, SEO, website design and e-commerce.

#34 MRA International (Long Branch) is a Hewlett Packard reseller aimed at public sector entities in New Jersey. The company provides support services such as maintenance, consulting and managed printing.

#35 Mathematica Policy Research (Princeton) uses big data to help decision makers with difficult choices figure out what is working.

#37 AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions (Warren) provides business management and business intelligence tools to hospitals, physicians, surgery centers, etc.

#38 Cedar Knolls-based Artech Information Systems provides workforce solutions and consulting in the tech industry.

#39 is iCIMs (Matawan), a maker of human resources software that helps companies attract, screen, hire and retain workers.

#40 Anthony Bongiovanni heads business technology solutions provider Micro Strategies (Denville).

#41 Woodbridge-based Miro Consulting’s Scott Rosenberg uses license optimization to help companies analyze and negotiate enterprise software contracts for Microsoft, Oracle and others.

#43 daVIZta (Bridgewater) has a set of tools to help life sciences companies predict revenue and the effectiveness of pricing.

#45 IT America Inc., an Edison-based IT solutions firm, is headed by Praveen Thadakamalla. The company builds, implements and integrates new applications, starting from gap analysis through the entire development cycle.

#48 Theorem, based in Chatham, Morris County, is a digital marketing agency headed by Jay Kulkarni. The agency says it is the “global leader in online media operations and reporting.”
