The company has one of the industry’s leading software portfolios in data protection and recovery, cloud, virtualization, archive, file sync and share. Founded in 1996, Commvault is headquartered in Tinton Falls, NJ, and has offices worldwide. The company has licensed its data and information management software to more than 23,000 registered customers. Its primary competitors include EMC, IBM, Veritas and Veeam. Commvault employed 2,379 employees, as of March 31, 2016.
